FUNES - Furniture new European skills 2020
"Furniture new European skills 2020"(FUNES) project kick-off meeting was held at the project coordinator headquarters in Valencia, Spain at the beginning of December 2014. The meeting was attended by the project consortium partners from five countries, i.e. Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, and Poland (represented by the Wood Technology Institute in Poznan).
The goal of the project is to develop models of new skills necessary in modern furniture industry.
To attain this goal the following actions was executed within the project:
- identification of development scenarios for the furniture industry companies,
- analysis of new skills necessary for present and future employees,
- development of training modules (together with appropriate materials) using an Internet platform to facilitate the acquirement of new skills in furniture industry.
The project was carried out in the period 2014-2017 and was co-financed by the EU funds under the programme ERASMUS+/KA2-Cooperation and Innovation for Good Practices.
