VADEMECUM database (usable timber species)

It is a database encompassing the 40 most popular wood species. Descriptions include trade and regional names, botanical marking, areas of occurrence, tree and wood profiles, ways of application and various curiosities which often originate in folk traditions and historical sources. Descriptions of particular species are enriched with photographs and pictures.

The database created by the Wood Investigation and Application Department.
